Building Relationships with a Servant’s Heart
Text Box: Events Sign Up for Events Text Box: Wednesday Night Dinner—Join Swift Creek Baptist Church for a hearty meal every Wednesday night between 5:00 and 6:15 p.m. Cost of the meal is $4.50. There is always a group of Single Adult Ministry folks you can sit with if you would like! Singles Monthly Sunday Lunch – Join us every second Sunday of the month for Singles’ Food and Fellowship. Who doesn’t like to eat?! No need to RSVP. Just plan to meet at the designated restaurant of the month after the 11:00 a.m. service. Children are welcome! In February we will eat at Genghis Khan Mongolian Grill Restaurant located at 2011-A Huguenot Road. January 23rd - Comedy Night and Soup for Supper! Bring your favorite soup dish to share or sides to complement soup such as crackers, cheese, sour cream, etc. and get ready to laugh until your face and sides hurt! We will be viewing some DVDs of Christian comedians that will have you holding your sides while you laugh! Come join the fun! February 7th - Super Bowl Sunday! - Time: As soon after the evening Worship Service as you can get there! Where: 14525 Spyglass Hill Circle – Bring your favorite finger food / snack and cheer for your favorite team, whether they are playing or not! (Tom!) Even if you don’t like football, come join in the fun and laughter. If football isn’t your game, come and rejoice that the season is over! We always have a great time! Evening service has been moved up to 5:00 pm for February 7th. February 28th - Singles Visit Shut-Ins - Join us for a lunch of pizza while we fill gift baskets for the shut-ins of Swift Creek Baptist Church. We will divide up into groups of two or three for our visits to deliver the baskets. Come join us as we “give back” to some folks that are not able to join us at church or have the fun that we have.
